Accountable to you, invested in Amaranth

Looking towards the future and considering who the Township of Amaranth wants to be, I'm certain that the answer lies in the partnerships and connections we make with our surrounding communities.  As Dufferin County grows, Amaranth continues to be a connector between booming townships.  Much work has already been tackled with regard to our infrastructure (bridges, highways, sideroads and lines) however, there is still much to accomplish. With our roads becoming busier with surrounding population growth, we need a consistent and simplified approach towards the design and implementation of safer intersections, speed limits and a focus on Vision-Zero initiatives.

No more unnecessary fatalities on our township roadways.

We are a rural township rooted in our active farming community, adapting to the needed and busy demands of industry and commercial growth.  I say, great problems to have.

Let's continue to make our community safer, bring our community together and deliver moments that build and define who we are.  Let's keep Amaranth green, growing, and grounded.
